Abstract:The article presents the author's experience of conducting research related to tobacco addiction. His journey of research in the field started when he assisted a student in his thesis study on rapid smoking. His current research revolves around the areas of clinical and public health cessation efforts, traditional prevention approaches and new focus on reducing antisocial behavior and promoting school adjustment as an innovative way to the reduction of tobacco use.
