Abstract:The article discusses various research on new strategies that boost immunity of older patients during cold season in the U.S. A research by the Tulane University School of Medicine showed that beta-glucan serves as an immune system stimulator which activates the body's defense system against viral and bacterial infections. Scientist isolated ingredients from the Andrographis paniculata that cures common cold and flu. Vitamin C as an essential factor for proper function of the immune system.
