Got Acne? Eat Some Oil!

Many people think that oily foods cause acne. Well, that's only partly true. A poor diet that includes deep-fried foods and other snacks made with bad oils (hydrogenated, refined) can make acne worse

But good oils (unrefined, coldpressed), like flax, sesame and walnut oils, can actually help acne. According to the Encyclopedia of Natural Healing, these healthy oils lower the body's production of sebum. Use two tablespoons of fresh, unrefined, cold-pressed oil daily over salads, in yogurt or with herbs as a bread dip. Remember -- these good oils should never be heated!
