Abstract:The article offers information about acne care and scarring in the U.S. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, acne is the most common skin disorder wherein scarring happens when the skin is trying to repair itself and forms secondary tissue to help the injured tissue or to block the spread of infection. Mark Less, clinical esthetician, stressed that most acne scarring cannot be erased and the best way to prevent it is to control acne breakouts.
