Abstract:Assesses whether iron deficiency contributes to attention-deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD)symptoms compared to children without ADHD. Effect of ferritin on the development of the central nervous system; Use of the Conners' Parent Rating Scale; Mean serum ferritin level in the children diagnosed with ADHD; Suggestion that a brain iron deficiency may underlie the symptoms of ADHD.
