Passion promoter

Sexual dysfunction-desire, arousal, and orgasm problems, and painful intercourse--affects 43% of American women, recent studies show. One possible cause: metabolic syndrome, say researchers at the Second University of Naples in Italy. Their study of 200 premenopausal women found 26% lower sexual satisfaction and 23% lower sexual function in the 120 who had metabolic syndrome, compared with the 80 who didn't. An impaired cardiovascular system might blunt normal changes in genital blood supply and lubrication during sexual stimulation. Ardor-boosting diet: Calorie controlled and low in cholesterol, with plenty of fruits, fiber, and vegetables.
