Abstract:Presents a study group criteria by the Centers for Disease Control, U.S. National Institutes of Health and the International Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for the diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Definition of CFS as chronic Epstein-Barr virus syndrome, chronic mononucleus syndrome, postviral fatigue syndrome and epidemic myalgic encephalomyelitis; Criteria to be totally fulfilled by a disease before diagnosed as CFS; Use of active antiviral compound glycyrrhizin for the treatment of CFS.
