According to the author, symptoms include a soft lump, like a grape, which moves a little when a person presses it, and a soft and lumpy mass accompanied by tenderness in one or both breasts before menstrual period. She suggests that a woman with soft lump should see if it has fluid so that doctors can insert a needle to drain fluid and relieve pressure.
