Abstract:This article reports that according to a multi-institutional study, intensive diet and lifestyle changes are able to slow the progression of low-grade prostate cancer. The research indicates that diet can influence the outcome of established prostate cancer. The effects of serums from the study and control patients on a line of androgen-dependent human prostate cancer cells were investigated by the researchers. The study established the fact that diet and lifestyle factors have a positive influence on men with untreated, low-grade prostate cancer.
