Abstract:The article reports on the findings of a research published in the journal "Rheumatology" concerning the effect of cod liver oil on rheumatoid arthritis drug dose. It reveals that rheumatoid arthritis patients can reduce their dose of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) by adding the oil. The authors suggest considering fish oil supplementation in rheumatoid arthritis patients to reduce (NSAIDs) intake.
