Abstract:The author reflects on the significance of understanding the metabolic and environmental influences that affect the brain through the body to be able to treat brain diseases. He suggests the role of nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, and hormonal imbalances in causing altered behavior, mood, and brain function. Meanwhile, he emphasizes that until scientists discover the causes of brain diseases, they will not succeed in their efforts to promote mental and cognitive well-being.
