Abstract:The article focuses on the three parts of the brain and their implications on the overall health of humans. The Reptilian Brain is related to survival instinct and is comprised of the spinal cord, medulla and midbrain. The Mammalian Brain is tied to emotions and to the hippocampus and hypothalamus. The Neocortex Brain is linked to reasoning and is related to the corpus callosum and cerebrum. It is the Mammalian Brain that is the most powerful in terms of healing because it can control emotions.
