Abstract:The article cites a study published in the "Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry" which found that a fish oil-rich diet can improve bone health. The author believed that the findings could provide a key strategy to prevent age-related osteoporosis in humans. The study, which used two groups of mice, found that the fish oil-fed group showed a higher bone mineral density in different bone regions. The omega-3 fed mice also exhibited higher levels of a bone formation marker.
