Roasted coffee beans do not have these antioxidant [found in green tea] actions, though the message about coffee and cancer risk is not clear. Several studies suggest that coffee may affect DNA and increase risk of bladder and ovarian cancers. Extremely hot drinks can have a physically damaging effect on cells in the mouth and throat, making them more vulnerable to cancer if used repeatedly.
