Herbal Immunity

My name is Emmalynn Omaits and I am a junior, studying English and Language
Arts Education at The University of Akron. I have recently entered a Feature
Writing class where we are required to write and publish 5 feature stories
throughout the semester. I am currently working on a story about herbs and
the effect that they can have on our immune systems, since this flu season
has been so rough for many people. I am interested in your opinion and would
like to be able to reference and quote your expertise for my paper.

The feature story I am writing is more specifically about the top 5 herbs
that people can consume in order to help boost their immunity and prevent
against the flu and cold. I have recently done some research and found that
black pepper, cardamom, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, garlic, ginger, and
horseradish are all good herbs to help boost the immune system and keep our
bodies warm through the winter months. Would you agree with this? If not,
what herbs would you suggest and why? If you were to choose the best herbs to
help your immune system, what would they be?
