Linus Pauling and Orthomolecular Medicine
Anyone who has studied chemistry will come across the name Linus Pauling. Maybe you're familiar with vitamin C? Dr. Pauling popularized vitamin C.

We're familiar with pharmaceutical drugs, of course. Well, Dr. Pauling was established the science behind modern medicine. Dr. Abram Hoffer, an orthomolecular physician said of Dr. Pauling, "In fact, it was Dr. Linus Pauling's work with the structure of molecules and the reactions of molecules within the body that created the basis for modern medicine today."

What about Nutritional Medicine? Dr. Linus Pauling also established the science behind the adage, "You are what you eat."

About Dr Linus Pauling:

-- He was the only person in history awarded two unshared Nobel Prizes.

-- He was second person in history awarded two Nobel Prizes in different categories (1954 Chemistry, 1962 Peace). The other person was Marie Curie.

--He has been awarded over 50 Honorary Degrees.

-- Dr. Pauling was the first scientist awarded a Nobel Prize for a body of work rather than a specific discovery.

-- He performed research on cancer, heart disease, addiction, mental illness, molecular biology, quantum physics, chelation therapy, chemistry, medicine...
